Scripture Memory Challenge
This month we're doing a Scripture memory challenge and would love for you to join us! Our goal is not just to memorize the Scriptures, but to become better lovers of God and others by being more diligent to set our minds on Him and His Word. This month’s verses are going to focus on Christ.
Each week, focus on the verse by reading and repeating it to yourself several times a day: see it, read it, and write it. We've made each verse a phone lock screen so you can put it where you'll see it often. At the end of each week ask yourself: how did reflecting on this specific verse help me be a better lover of God and others?
Week one | Hebrews 13:8
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Week two | Hebrews 4:15
“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.”
Week three | 1 John 3:16
“We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
Week four | Colossians 2:9-10
“For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority”
Week five | Ephesians 2:13
“But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
